Oblivious of her intention, Su Yu heard An’s voice and walked toward him, leaving Han Yueyao standing there in embarrassment.
“President Su, our car has a problem.”
An had worked for Su Yu for many years and Su Yu knew he never exaggerated.
“What’s wrong?”
“I’ll explain later. Anyway, we can’t use the car today. Maybe you can take a taxi to drive Miss Han home? Or… I’ll call the company and have a chauffeur pick you up?”
Su Yu looked down and glanced at his watch. “Forget it. It’s late and I don’t want to wake them up. I’ll take a taxi. How about you?”
“I’ll call the dealer and get them to tow the car to the shop,” said An.
“Okay.”
Su Yu strode back and stopped a taxi.

“Don’t stall. Hurry up and get in. It’s cold outside…”
Without a fuss, he pulled open the door and pushed her onto the backseat.
Then he took the passenger seat. “Employee dorm building of Imperial Star,” he said.
“No problem.” The taxi driver was a middle-aged man over forty. With sparse hair and a heavyset body, he had a genial face.
“Huh? Are you… the… um… the big boss of Imperial Star?”
After a few minutes, the taxi driver kept glancing at Su Yu, thinking he looked familiar; finally he recognized Su Yu.
“Yeah.” Su Yu didn’t elaborate.
“Whoa. My gosh! It’s really you… I heard you’re super rich, right?”
“It’s okay.” It’s hard to see if he was being modest or pretending indifference.
Han Yueyao chuckled behind him…
Su Yu gave her a dirty look in the back mirror.
“Whoa, do you know how much my daughter likes you, President Su? She says you’re handsome and wants to quit school to interview for a trainee position at your company…”
“How old is your daughter?” Su Yu was curious.
“She’ll be 12 after this year’s birthday.”
Su Yu: “…”
“Hahaha…” Han Yueyao hooted uncontrollably.
“Is it funny?” Su Yu looked back and glared at her.
“So… funny. President Su, I didn’t know so many people like you…” Han Yueyao chuckled.
Su Yu looked exasperated…
Then the driver continued feelingly, “Brother, I tell you money isn’t guaranteed to bring happiness, right? Many rich people have loaned lots of money from banks, which gives them great pressure. They are not as happy as I, a taxi driver. I’m content so long as I can make 200 to 300 yuan each day.”
“You have a point,” Su Yu chatted with him casually.
Then the driver glanced back at Han Yueyao. “The girl is very pretty. Is she a performer in your company?”
“Eh-hem…” Su Yu nodded slightly.
“You’re lucky with women. You can have any female stars you want… But you must take it easy. If you do it too frequently when you are young, you’ll feel the consequences when you’re my age. If a man has weak kidneys, it’s hard to recover. I hope you’ll take it easy.”
Hearing his words, Su Yu was so angry that he didn’t know he should laugh or cry.
Han Yueyao blushed in embarrassment. She was an adult and knew what the driver meant.
“I say, are you a taxi driver or a paparazzi? You’re not young but still love to gossip.” Su Yu couldn’t bear it anymore and scolded the middle-aged driver.
