Pudding was a thoughtful girl and never asked impertinent or useless questions, but this time she looked hopeful.

After all, her mommy had only one birthday each year.

Grandpa and Auntie loved Mommy and should come and celebrate her birthday, right?

Hearing her mommy’s words, Pudding looked lost.

Huo Mian changed the subject to distract Pudding.

Sure enough, Jiang Xiaowei and her family had arrived; other than her and Wei Liao, Wei Ying and her mother, who was also Jiang Xiaowei’s mother-in-law, came, too.

The old lady was in a good mood as she walked in with her daughter after Wei Liao and Jiang Xiaowei.

Holding Pudding’s hand, Huo Mian hurried over to greet them.

Wei Yunchu was happy to see Pudding.

“Boyuan and his parents are not with you guys?”

“No. Auntie Lingling said she needed to go and pick up the birthday peaches for Auntie Mian and will arrive in a little while,” Wei Yunchu replied cheerfully.

“Whoa. Are you serious? Don’t pull my leg.”
