“Mommy, can Handsome Su drive us? Or Uncle An.” Pudding was a little afraid.

“I’m driving you, get in the car.” Huo Mian looked very stern.

The twins didn’t dare to say another word and followed the driver onto the car.

Huo Mian interrupted her, “Yan, wait for me in the car.”

After, Lu Yan didn’t dare to say more and brought the kids onto the van.

Huo Mian finally turned around to look at Su Yu.

Su Yu was scared of the kids getting a lecture. After all, Huo Mian was well known for her strictness, so he took all the blame.

Huo Mian didn’t sit. She was in the fourth month of her pregnancy and her belly wasn’t small. She was wearing a Korean style sundress with flowy sleeves.

However, she didn’t look like she was pregnant. She had on a pair of flats and her feet looked slightly swollen; maybe it was because she was pregnant.

“Okay, you’ve been hassled the whole morning and haven’t rested. You must be busy.”

Huo Mian didn’t say anything and didn’t blame Su Yu.

“Mian…” Su Yu felt a bit unsure.

“Su Yu, where’s Zeng Rou? I want to talk to her,” Huo Mian said.

“Uh, she’s in the kitchen.” Su Yu pointed at the kitchen.

Huo Mian slowly walked over.

“Did you snitch to Mian?” Su Yu pointed at An and questioned.

“It really wasn’t me, President Su, I swear…” An looked wronged.

“Who was it then? How could Mian know that we were here,” Su Yu couldn’t figure it out.

Huo Mian suddenly showed up soon after they returned.

Zeng Rou didn’t plan on seeing Huo Mian; after all, if she initiated the conversation, she might seem like she was trying to get onto Huo Mian’s good side. If she didn’t say anything, she might seem stuck-up.

So, she hid in the kitchen and cleaned. She didn’t think that Huo Mian would come find her.

“Zeng Rou.”

“Huh?” Zeng Rou turned around, feeling guilty for no reason.

She wasn’t dating Su Yu but was living with him. She was afraid of Huo Mian asking about the details in front of Su Yu.

They were both women; if Huo Mian lectured her in front of people, her dignity would be destroyed.

“I’m sorry about today,” Huo Mian said.

“Huh?” Huo Mian’s sudden apology shocked Zeng Rou.

“Pudding and Little Bean are usually pretty mature, but maybe they have been too close to Su Yu, hence their hostility towards you. They brought you too much trouble, and it’s my fault as a mother. I’ll teach them more strictly from now on.”

“No, no, Dr. Huo, Pudding and Little Bean didn’t give me any trouble, ha.” Zeng Rou waved her hands, not wanting to start trouble. The children thought she had ill intentions from the beginning anyways.

“I’m really sorry about the breakfast, you had to be busy for the entire morning for no reason.”

She could tell that Huo Mian knew what was going on.

“It’s okay, even if they weren’t here, I would have to make breakfast anyway. An and Su Yu are used to it anyway, I just made more today.”

Huo Mian didn’t say anything, she pulled out a business card from her purse, wrote a few words on it and handed it to Zeng Rou.

“Find me at South Side Recuperation Center in an hour.”

After speaking, Huo Mian turned and left. Zeng Rou held Huo Mian’s card, still in shock.
