After a bath, the twins were listening to music and reading a book in bed.

“Do you still remember me?” Lu Yan sat on the windowsill and smiled at her in a dashing way.

“Really? Did your mommy tell you that?”
Pudding nodded in emphasis. “Mom said Auntie is awesome… You can do anything.”
“Yes. So, if I tell you I’ll find your mom and save your Dad, will you believe me?”
“I do.” Pudding nodded happily.
“Where’s Little Bean? She went to bed so early?” With Pudding in her arms, Lu Yan leaped down from the windowsill without making a sound.
“Yeah. She’s been feeling low for the last couple of days because she misses Mom and Dad badly… I didn’t tell her the truth.”
“You did a good job of taking care of your sister.” Lu Yan gave her a thumbs-up to show her appreciation.
Lu Yan walked to stand beside Little Bean and kissed her lightly on the forehead.
“My little pig… You look exactly like your sister. Two little cute girls.”
Lu Yan felt closer to Huo Mian and her twins more than anyone could imagine.
Despite the heavy guard of the Su Family mansion, Lu Yan still broke in.
Qiao Fei was outside to keep watch and didn’t come in.
Due to her special background, she couldn’t meet Su Yu and had to see the kids in secret.
“Pudding, I have good news for you.”
“What good news?”
“Do you want to see your grandpa?” Lu Yan asked.
“Grandpa?” Pudding remembered the old man she had seen in the U.S. Her mom later told her that he was her grandpa. It sounded miraculous.
But she remembered the husband of the grandma in China was dead. Since her mom didn’t say more about the topic, Pudding hadn’t dared to ask more questions.

“Then let’s call him and ask him to come back and save your Dad, okay?” Lu Yan pointed at the smartwatch on her wrist and looked at Pudding dotingly.
