“Since, since this matter is of national importance, you should tell him.” Little Bean glanced at Pudding, who nodded and looked up at Su Yu. “Something happened between Mommy and Daddy.”

“No, Sis, it’s not just something. I think they’re fighting… or maybe they’ve iced each other,” Little Bean corrected.

“Iced each other? Why?” Su Yu frowned. He knew the couple well enough to know that this was impossible. He knew better than anyone how Qin Chu treated Huo Mian.

“We’re not sure, and we can’t ask too many questions,” Pudding continued.

“Are you sure you’re not thinking too much?” Su Yu didn’t believe the twins; after all, they were only three years old. “We’re sure,” the twins answered in unison.

“So… what am I supposed to do?” This was something Su Yu did not anticipate, so for a second there, he wasn’t sure how he was supposed to help.

“Would we come here if we knew what to do? My sister and I wanted your advice or your help!” Little Bean said with a sigh.

“This is… between them, an outsider like me shouldn’t interfere. It might cause bigger problems between them.”

Su Yu was a man who knew his boundaries well. When he first began courting Huo Mian, he didn’t know she was married. After he found out, he buried his feelings and even purposely kept his distance.
