Huo Siqian was surprised to see Huo Mian’s number flashing on his cellphone screen. He had to blink a couple of times to make sure that he wasn’t hallucinating.

“All of them…”

“Why should I believe you? These people were all linked to you, especially Mo Xue’er, she was at the hospital yesterday and told me that you…” Huo Mian suddenly paused, remembering that Gao Ran said they were monitoring Huo Siqian’s cell phone. She decided not to bring up his dual personalities.

“Go on,” Huo Siqian said quietly.

“What I’m trying to say is… if you’re the one behind these murders and disappearances, just say so. Don’t pretend to be innocent.”

“Should I admit it even if I didn’t do anything?” Huo Siqian chuckled.

“That’s not what I mean. I just think… murder is a serious crime, so it’s good that you didn’t do it. So many things are happening to people in or related to the Xiang Family, and I think it has to do with you… So, if you’re not the one behind these incidents, you should be careful.
