“Sure.” Qin Chu knew what Huo Mian wanted to do, so he went up to Zhixin’s room with his mother-in-law without another word.
After Huo Mian walked out with Yang Xiuping, she unlocked the doors of the Maybach and got onto the back seat. Then, she patted the seat beside her. “It’s cold outside, let’s talk in here.”
“Okay.” Yang Xiuping nodded. Then, she got onto the backseat and sat down beside Huo Mian.
“Xiuping, how… do you think my mother treats you?” Huo Mian asked gently.
“Auntie treats me very well.”
“What about me, how do you think I treat you?”
“You treat me like family, Cousin Mian.” Yang Xiuping was a little scared of Huo Mian, so she acted reserved in front of her and wore an unnatural expression on her face.
“Since we treat you well, how can you have the audacity to steal my mom’s jewelry?”
