Su Hongxing noticed the disdain that flashed in Xiaole’s eyes. Instead of responding directly, she asked in a soft voice, “Can I choose any room I like?”

Xiaole thought Su Hongxing would stay in the master bedroom and was wondering how she could get her to leave, but Su Hongxing consciously left and found another bedroom instead.

After Xiaole left, Su Hongxing went online to search for “Ye Qilan” in order to gather some information on his background.
She could tell this man was either rich or noble, but she had never heard anyone talk about him before.
The search results were disappointing.
While she could find his name online, there was no detailed explanation about his family background or career history.
There were two possibilities. First, Ye Qilan was a nobody; second, Ye Qilan was notable but preferred to keep a low profile.
Although she hoped for the first scenario, she realized it was unlikely.
Xiaole didn’t treat Su Hongxing as the lady of the house and didn’t prepare lunch.
Fortunately, Su Hongxing was used to fending for herself. She made a bowl of noodles for herself, dealing with her hunger. As she came out of the kitchen, she saw Xiaole secretly observing.
Pretending not to see Xiaole, she left the living room and sat down on a chair next to the pool, intending to send out job applications online.
Just as she was busy doing this, Madame Xiao called her.
“Dear, why did you suddenly move out?”
